Traversing
the magnificent Laredo Sound, this sea kayak expedition is a journey
of cultural and wilderness exploration. Laredo Sound and the West
coast of Princess Royal Island is a magnificent sea kayaking destination
with the many inlets and coves, beautiful sandy beaches, and protected
and exposed waters. Guests will have ample opportunity to experience
the culture of the Kitasoo people and interact with the abundant
wildlife including whales and other marine mammals, and the many
species of birds. We may even be lucky enough to spot the elusive
Spirit bear. This is a tour through the Kitasoo paradise that
all levels of paddlers can enjoy however it is best suited to
intermediate paddlers or paddlers with some previous kayaking
experience. This tour is done in classic expedition style where
we will be camping every night.
